Marla Nelson, PhD, AICP. Dr. Nelson is a Professor of Planning and Urban Studies at the University of New Orleans where she coordinates the accredited Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program. Dr. Nelson’s expertise is in inclusive, equitable development and adaptation. Dr. Nelson has published widely on post-disaster recovery, redevelopment and relocation policy.
