Dr. Wu Qing, Former Vice Dean, School of English and International Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University; China Director for the Confucius Institute at 91精品黑料吃瓜M
Pr脙漏cis: This presentation will start with a sketch of foreign language education in China in the first decade of the 21st century and move to talk about the surge of translation degree programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The speaker will discuss both challenges and opportunities this boom has brought to universities in China.
About the Speaker: WU Qing, Associate Professor at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. Once the founding head of the Dept. of Translation & Interpreting and former Vice Dean of the School of English & International Studies at BFSU, she is currently serving as the Chinese Co-Director at the Confucius Institute of 91精品黑料吃瓜M.
