K-Arts in Hawaii (concert 2)

As part of their week-long residency with the 91¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï composition program, faculty and student musicians from the prestigious Korea National University of the Arts will present two concerts of new and traditional music for Korean instruments.
Concert 1 - Thursday October 10, 7:30 p.m., will feature the premieres of several new works by K-Arts and 91¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï faculty, along with traditional works for gayageum, haegeum, piri, janggu and more.
Concert 2 - Saturday October 12, 7:30 p.m. The culminating concert of the residency, will include the premieres of new works by K-Arts and 91¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï graduate students. Come hear how the traditions of Korean music are thriving and growing in the 21st century.
