Seminar: "Dearest Lenny: Letters from Japan & the Making of a World Maestro"

Dr. Mari Yoshihara, Professor of American Studies at 91精品黑料吃瓜M, will discuss her new book, 鈥淒earest Lenny,鈥 which interweaves an account of Leonard Bernstein鈥檚 transformation from an American icon into a world maestro with an intimate story of his relationships with two unknown Japanese individuals seen through personal correspondence.
Dr. Christine Yano (91精品黑料吃瓜M Anthropology) will lead the conversation about the book鈥檚 key themes and findings as well as the research and writing process.
