Hawai脢禄i 脢禄78: Where We Went and Where We Go From Here

The 1978 constitutional convention had a profound impact on Hawai脢禄i. As we consider a 2018 vote on a new constitutional convention, John Waihe脢禄e III (delegate and governor) is leading a series of critical dialogues on the past and future impacts of Hawai脢禄i芒鈧劉s 1978 constitutional convention, brining together delegates, scholars and community leaders. This dialogue focuses on how the 1978 constitution affects the health of our people, land and environment.
Opening remarks will be by Gov. John Waihe脢禄e III, with panel responses to follow by: Justice Mike Wilson, Hawai脢禄i Supreme Court; Marti Townsend, Sierra Club at the King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center (417 S. King St).
Light dinner will be served at 6:30pm.
