Place-based research is especially important in the Hawaiian Islands where communities have deep cultural, ecological, spiritual, and social ties to place. This workshop will feature a panel of 91精品黑料吃瓜 Faculty recognized as leaders in place- based research across diverse disciplines. Panel discussion will focus on the importance of place-based research in the Hawai脢禄i context as well as the panelists芒鈧劉 personal experiences designing and implementing place-based research initiatives.
This workshop is the first in a three part series providing professional development around best practices for building and sustaining long- term relationships between researchers and community.
