The Creative Drama Roadmap: For Science Teachers

The content of this workshop will be directed towards TAs on how creative drama can be integrated into existing science lessons by teachers with limited or no theatre or performing arts background by addressing:

  • What creative drama is
  • Benefits of using it in the classroom
  • A demonstration of science-based creative drama activity (with participation of all workshop attendees)
  • A four-step approach to selecting which creative drama activity to pair with your science lesson
Though focused on science courses, this framework can easily translate across disciplines and all are welcome to attend!
