Belly Dance (Raqs Sharqi) of Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, etc.

Belly dance is a diverse art form that encourages body positivity and celebration of movement. ANY body is the correct body for belly dance. While belly dance is traditionally associated with Egypt, many other countries have their own belly dance styles. Today, blends are common and there are even specifically American variations that are recognized.

This performance is part of MÄ€NOA International Education Week 2017 (MIEW 2017).
