Suzanne D. Case, Chairperson, Department of Land and Natural Resources and Maggie Sporck-Koehler, State Botanist, Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife, and an affiliated researcher with the University of Hawaii's Botany Department are the speakers for the second (of four) Sakamaki Extraordinary Lectures.
They will discuss landscape scale forest conservation (intact native forests, watershed partnerships, and invasive species), as well as protecting and restoring endangered plants in situ.
