Where Do We Live? Caregiving Through Exploring 驶膧ina

February 26, 9:00am - 11:00am
惭腻苍辞补 Heritage Center

Office of Civic and Community Engagement in partnership with the American Association of University Women at 91精品黑料吃瓜M and Student Parents at 惭腻苍辞补 (SP@M) invite you to participate in a family-focused service learning event which will encourage place-based learning for students, staff, faculty, student parents, grandparents--the whole 'ohana--in learning and working together as a community. As everyone is in a sense a caregiver, this event is suitable for anyone who wants to know about where we are living in order to understand how to engage with the history, culture, and legacy that the land and its native people want to perpetuate. This can be seen as an act of antiracism as one actively attempts to go against colonial norms and stereotypes, and uplifts indigenous knowledge and experience as a component of how to live well in Hawai驶i.
